is the largest and most comprehensive Internet site

of information and resources on teen and family issues

to help and support families with troubled and at-risk teens.

 

 

Our mission is to provide information and resources to empower individuals to help their teens and heal their families.  Through education, self-awareness, self-help, and personal responsibility, families can rebuild their relationships and reconnect in positive and loving ways.  The free availability of the Focus website reflects our commitment to disseminate knowledge to the widest possible audience.  For over a decade, Focus Adolescent Services has adhered to this mission, helping to save youth and families.

 

Professionals -- medical, mental health, academic, journalists --  newspapers, magazines, cable network news, national and local network news, radio, youth workers -- juvenile justice workers, social service agency workers, health department workers, law enforcement personnel, staff at public and private facilities, and students -- high school, undergraduate, graduate also find valuable information at Focus Adolescent Services to help them in their work and study.

 

Focus Adolescent Services is an independent entity and is NOT affiliated with any private, public, or governmental agency or organization, nor under the direction of any outside individual or group.

 

The Focus Adolescent Services Helpline (410-341-4216) is an information and referral service for families with troubled teens and is not intended as a general crisis hotline.  Local hotline phone numbers can be in found in the front of your local phone book or on the State Directory of Family Help pages.
